Retired Chief Financial Officer of the University School of Nashville, Teresa Standard was named among the 2021 Will J. Hancock Unsung Hero Award recipients by the National Business Officers Association, an organization dedicated to advancing business excellence in independent schools. The Unsung Hero Award is given to business officers who have made extraordinary contributions to their schools and exemplify exceptional integrity, knowledge, and motivation.  A graduate of the Independent School Leadership Master’s program at Vanderbilt University, Teresa has decades of experience in business office leadership within independent schools and in the private sector.
